2007 FAME North American Championships Headed for Miami's South Beach This Weekend

The Gusman Theatre of the Performing Arts in Miami will host the final FAME World Tour event of the year when the World's Best Bodies hit South Beach this Friday and Saturday for the 2007 FAME North American Championships.

This all natural physique competition Grande Finale showcases beauty and brawn, coupled with athleticism, determination and entertainment like none other. Athletes compete in Fitness Modeling, Figure, Fitness, Natural Bodybuilding, Muscle Modeling and a Bikini Model Search as they vie for the title of FAME North American Champion.

For the first time, FAME will offer a FAME Master Pro Division, to provide senior athletes the opportunity to compete at a higher level for cash prizes. Master Pro classes will include men's and women's FAME Muscle, men's and women's FAME Fitness Model and Fitness.

The event kicks off on Friday, November 2, with Media Day and Athlete Registration at the host hotel, the Shelborne Beach Resort. The Media Day will feature crews from NBC's Telemundo Network and FAME TV meeting and filming top FAME competitors from the US, Canada and around the World. Competitors will tell their stories of triumph and perseverance and demonstrate why they are hailed as role models.

On Saturday, athletes and film crews will gather at the Gusman Theater for the Performing Arts for the actual competition and stage presentations.

The best bodies and top winners will be shot for the 2008 FAME Calendar on location at the post contest pool party at the Shelborne Beach Resort on Sunday.

Admission tickets for the competition beginning at 9:00 AM on Saturday are $15.00 General and $20.00 VIP. The Finals and Evening Entertainment begins at 6:00 PM and are $30.00 General and $45.00 VIP
