Meaning, my body uses that many calories daily, just doing body functions and movements (that does not include working out). So, I gotta take in about 3000+ calories to keep muscle mass.

If your shakes equal up to 1300+ calories a day, you still need more than double that to keep your muscle and maybe more to build and repair muscle. I think you should worry about carbs and sugars more than calories.

Eat clean and lean. Get atleast 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight (shoot for 1.5gm per pound of body weight), lift, do your cardo, and take your cuts and pak. You should do just fine.

Later.

RE: animal product help (the cat)

since my protien shale has 630 somehting cals in it with milk and i take it for breakfeast should i also use that fro after workout to because thats a lot of cals? and i wanna loose weight

RE: animal product help (AnimalForever1)

I'm sure you can find some kinda over the counter sleep aid, just to get you use to going to bed earlier. Maybe a tall glass of milk or a protein shake before bed might help. Going to bed earlier will definitaly help you. Shoot for 7 hours every night, 8 is ideal. I hope the Animal products work for you. I've been taking Pak everyday for about 6-7 months. I love Animal products. They have a website... animalpak.com

Check out that site, they have alot of good advise about lifting and other goodies too.

Good luck bro, later.

RE: animal product help (the cat)

m telling ya man i cant sleep i even have zma. i go to bed around 12:00 or later. and wake up if i want to 45 minutes earlier at 6:00

RE: animal product help (AnimalForever1)

Mix the MuscleMilk with skim milk. You can try water, but I couldn't drink it. Taste much better with skim milk and when it comes to breakfast, don't worry about calories because you probably haven't eaten anything in about 8-10 hours, so those calories will be good for your muscles. Also, don't worry about it increacing your bodies own creatine, if it does, you'll benefit from it.

And dude, what time do you go to bed where u can't get up 45 minutes early? Don't wanna sound like your mom, but do know that while your sleeping, thats when your muscles grow? Get your 8 hours.

You can get aminos in liquid or pill form.

About the drug problem at your school, you might have to get a little creative and risk it in the name of GETTING F-ING RIPPED.

Later bro.

RE: animal product help (the cat)

i got all my stuff today but i was confused with some stuff. first for the muscle milk it says with water 348 calories and with low fat milk 638... i should probly go with water because i want to loose around 10 pounds? also it says it help increase own bodies creatine...isnt this bad if your trying to lose weight?

man i cant thank you enough later bro

RE: animal product help (the cat)

also ilift at school so i just take teh cuts at school sometime? Amino Acids are proteins, but in free form (ex... L-Gluatmine). You can go to where ever it is that your gonna be buying your supps. and look up any company and they all just about have an Animo Acid product (ex...Prolab Amino 2000). The reason for you to take these is because I remember being in school all day and only getting to eat once at lunch and I don't think I can do that now. I eat about every 2 hours. With you lifting really hard, you hunger is gonna go up. So, take some aminos with you to school, and take a serving whenever your hungry, just to keep your body from going catabolic (which means, it starts breaking down your hard earned muscle for food). Take Pak after you drink your protein shake in the morning. The instructions on Cuts say to take Cuts right when you wake up then wait about 45 minutes before you eat. So, you might have to start getting up a little bit earlier.

1. Cuts in the morning right when you wake up, 45 minutes later, protein shake, then Pak right after shake.
2. Take aminos throughout the day to stay anabolic.
3. Lunch.
4. Take Cuts again before you lift on empty stomach. (You probably can cheat a little and take some animos before you lift aswell.)
5. ---Lift---
6. Have a shake after your lift. (You can take another Pak if you want.)
7. Dinner.

As you can see, animos are very important and your best friend when you go long periods and can't eat. Also, drink alot of water everyday. Shoot for a gallon a day. Make sure you get a good amount of fiber in your diet. You don't want that protein sitting in you like a rock. Good luck... Hope these helps.. Later bro.

RE: animal product help (the cat)

alright so muscle milk is alright for breakfeast or no? what is it exactly? what do you mean by if not around food take amino acids? also whats a good type?

so basically i should take cuts first thing then have my breakfeast(musclemilk) then eat lunch(might not be that high quality ....i mean it is school) go and lift go home take another cuts then 30 minutes later protien shake then dinner(usually chicken, baked potatoes, rice) then take the pak?

RE: animal product help (AnimalForever1)

Well, first of all, you should always lift hard, no matter what your doing. Also, if your worried about losing muscle mass, just make sure your protein intake is about 1.5 grams per pound of body weight, or more. You also might wanna think about taking a good animo acid product for when you might not be around food, you can take a hand full of aminos to make sure your body is staying anabolic. Make sure you rotate your cardio, meaning, don't do the same kind of cardio. Run on the treadmill for a couple of days, then try the bike. Also, go to your local drug store or gnc and pick up some Flax Seed oil and put that into your protein shakes, to insure your getting all your omega fatty acids. Make sure you stay away from steak. Eat more lean meats like chicken and tuna.

As far as sleep, I've read on this forum of people taking ZMA and sleeping better.

Hope that helps, Later bro.

RE: animal product help (the cat)

i am plannninig on loosing around 10 ounds on cuts. so i think im gonna take it in stages. First im gonna take pak as a multi cause i need it considering i hate fruits and vegtibles so i want some vitmains and its just good for you. while taking pak i will be on cuts and be on a reasonable diet and do around a half hour of cardio a day. In the morning i only have around 5 to 10 minutes so maybe i hsould have that musclemilk you were tlkaing about for my breakfeast? will that work? if not can u pick a shake out for me. i just dont want to lose muscle mass. i will be lifting hard while on cuts. after my cycle of cut i will probly go on nitro with animal pak. also i find it very hard to fall asleep any pointers?

RE: animal product help (AnimalForever1)

For breakfast, I'd probably go with a protein shake or about 8-10 egg whites (you can get those in the carton so your not breaking eggs all morning) Your diet all depends on your goals, if your trying to get bigger or stronger, then Cuts, being a fat burner, won't help with strength. But Nitro may help. And don't look for any miracle mass gains with Pak. Its just a Multi Vitamin, but the best Multi. made in my opinion. Food takes about 2-3 hours to get outta the stomach. Buy a protein that isn't a gainer if your trying to cut some calories, again though, the extra calories will help with building muscle. See, we all know that its very hard to try and get cut and build more muscle at the same time. The protein shake won't counter the effects of Cuts, as long as your not taking a shake that has like 600 calories per serving. If your worries about your shake having too many calores, take something like Juiced Protein from Pinnacle or Animal even has a protein out called AnimalMax (I just order some the other day). There are millions of other protein powderes out there, just try and pick something that in high quality. Another favorite among bodybuilders is MuscleMilk. I always say you can't lose with that stuff and its pretty cheap and taste really good. If you wanna shed just a couple of pounds, try maybe doing about 15 minutes of cardio before and after your workout, instead of taking cuts. You may benefit more from that and save a little money for your can of Nitro. If you need anymore help, I got your back bro. Personally, Nitro has given me better results. I'd say take Nitro before trying M-Stak.
