Everyone has their own perception of what's "hard". I find it pretty difficult to consume that much, but I'm a very small guy ;)
RE: failure (smoundzou)

I guess that may be it... Don't get me wrong.. I could easily eat 3500-4000 per day eating dirty.. but as I mentioned before.. I'm more concerned with what I eat as to how much. I'll eat bad lunches 2 or 3 days but other than that.. everything is pretty clean... I can also tell a difference in the way I feel when I do eat bad... for me.. eating clean is very difficult.. I like all the bad stuff.. but as you get older.. the body changes and reacts differently to exercise, diet etc...
I'm happy with my size... Muscle mass so I really only try to maintain and on occation, I'll eat heavey.. but nothing strict..

ORIGINAL: David1991

u find it hard to eat 2500 calories? maybe its cause ur older. i eat 3700 calories a day and get hungry every 2-3 hours. and thats with a keto diet thats supposed to be very filling.

RE: failure (David1991)

u find it hard to eat 2500 calories? maybe its cause ur older. i eat 3700 calories a day and get hungry every 2-3 hours. and thats with a keto diet thats supposed to be very filling.

RE: failure (smoundzou)

Dude... I stuggle to eat 2000-2300 clean cals per day... and that's is including 2 or 3 325 cal shakes..

In order to maintain.. I'll usally eat clean one day and dirty the next..... dirty meaning a bad lunch... 800-1200 cals of crap.. If I can do that 2 or 3 times a week... I don't think it's too horrible...
I honestly don't try to cut and bulk anymore... I'm over that rollercoaster...

ORIGINAL: coldfire

I agree that eating clean food is always better, but sometimes it's too hard to get all the calories you need with clean food and it's better to get them with "dirty" food then not at all.

RE: failure (coldfire)

I agree that eating clean food is always better, but sometimes it's too hard to get all the calories you need with clean food and it's better to get them with "dirty" food then not at all.

RE: failure (smoundzou)

I know when I was in my 20's and even into my late 30's.. You young guys.. I'm assuming, Coldfire is young, and faily sure twisted is... I'm older and I can really tell a difference in the way I feel when I eat bad... so I avoid fast food... and try to eat what most consider clean.. But to clarify what I said earlier.. I did mean crappy as in fast food and junk...

I've seen guys eat tons of junk and gain muscle with little fat while others eat the same.. workout hard and still not gain the muscle.. and end up putting on more fat... to me it all boils down to genetics.. some have great genetics for building muscle and other's... not so great..
RE: failure (coldfire)

 same here :)

RE: failure (twistedlink)

Thats why i snack on nuts, tonnes of calories in tiny bags, and they taste good too

RE: failure (coldfire)

ORIGINAL: twistedlink

ORIGINAL: coldfire

When I said crappy I meant not a clean one.
