Don't keep doing heavy deadlifts if your having back problems or it's gonna get worse. I'm suffering from the same thing. Also, I recommend getting a massage once in a while. It helps keep you loose.

RE: Lower Back (Misanthropy)

I cant say this enough......stretch your hamstrings. Stretching you hams will help your upper and lower back. A few times a day will help. Stand with you feet shoulder length apart and with a slight bend in your knees, try to touch your feet. While you are doing so, bury your chin to your chest. This will target your upper back.

Lower Back (KBud)

I injured my back 3 weeks ago. it was doin' deadlifts for the second week after starting them, i knew my form wasnt perfect yet and i was right.
