It sounds like it's either the Pec or the Clavical head tear. the only thing unusual about the whole thing is, if it was a tear you would have pain with almost any type of move that hit the muscle?

Maybe the muscle fiber just got worked really hard and it has some inflamation? Did the doc put you on IB or anything for inflamation? If not and assuming you can take it.. I would try about 800MG of IB 4X per day. If it's not gone is a week or so I would go back and have another exam...
tricep/pec injury (fukuoka_boi)

Hey guys...this is my first post

just to give ya alil background im 20 and used to be a pretty hardcore martial artist...from 6 on and off till about 16 i trained really hard....i got a girlfriend who was alil controlling stopped workin out...got outta shape then lost a bunch of weight doin cardio over the past few years and now im trying to do more anaerobic stuff and get my muscle strength back....

well this leads me to what happened

i just picked up a weider cross-bow legend (pretty much a bowflex) for a 100$ locally from this lady that needed it outta her den. and i LOVE it...i have a gym membership but im a night crawler and have ADHD so sometimes gym ddidnt fit into my schedule....long story shot i got alil TOO excited i think when i first got it...i worked out CONSTANTLY like it felt sooooo good to just be able to do a few sets...and just come back later...or do a full workout and then around 1-2am be able to tire myself out if i wasnt sleepy yet.

well ive had it for about 2 weeks and the other day i was doin my regular ruitine and i noticed that my chest kinda hurt...not like aheart thing but like a muscle pain....when i moved it a certain way...i didnt think anything of it and went to different excercises... and just avoided activity that caused that pain...I DONT LIKE TRY TO MAX OUT...I DO LIKE MAYBE 80 LBS ALL AROUND.. i dont try to bench alot as im just trying to tone up

next day i was examining where the origin of the pain seemed to be and like about 2-3 inches under my collar bone if i press on it i can feel like a bulge aboue 2 inches horizontal and about 1+ centimeter vertical....is that my rib? is that a pulled muscle? it hurts to push on it..but other than that it doesnt bother me unless i cough then i feel the pain or if i move in weird positions... it just kinda feels achy im really scared

i can do front handsprings/cartwheels/pushups without any discomfort really..but this bulge is really bothering me...it isnt enough to be seen but u can feel it...
***update*** i went to doc and he said i probably pulled something..but to watch it....its been about a week and the pain is alot better...but the bulge is still there....is it a rib? can a rib become out of place?
it does hurt alittle if pressed on the lump pretty hard...

any help or advice would be appreciateded
thank you so much!

kin
