﻿<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><rss version="2.0"><channel><title>Don't wish time by</title><link>http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/</link><description /><copyright>(c) DiscussBodybuilding.com</copyright><ttl>30</ttl><item><title> Don't wish time by (toolman4052)</title><description>  I just kind of realized that I have been doing this, and I'd say I'm not alone on this boat.&amp;nbsp; Does anyone else actually kind of wish time by to a point where you will be bigger and/or stronger?&amp;nbsp;  &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  For those who are like me, I think we just need to slow down, and actually think about the reasons we do this.  &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  For most I'm guessing it's for one these reasons:  &lt;br&gt;  &lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;be more attractive (to the opposite sex) &lt;br&gt;  &lt;li&gt;be healthy and feel better &lt;br&gt;  &lt;li&gt;competition &lt;br&gt;  &lt;li&gt;look intimidating/fight better?&amp;nbsp; (I seriously think a lot of people lift for this reason, esp. younger kids who get picked on) &lt;br&gt;  &lt;li&gt;simply be bigger/stronger&lt;/ul&gt; &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  I personally lift to stay healthy and be bigger/stronger, and use gains in strength/size as motivation to continue lifting.&amp;nbsp; I'm ok with the way I look now,&amp;nbsp;but for some reason I still think to myself "man I wish I could skip ahead to where I weigh 200 lbs lean."&amp;nbsp;  &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  Anyways, this is probably the crappiest article in the history of crappy articles (in fact, it's really not even an article, but I had no idea where else to place it), but the point is :  &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  Don't wish your life away.&amp;nbsp; Enjoy lifting weights and appreciate each day that you get to.&amp;nbsp; You'll get bigger, stronger, leaner, more competitive, find your mate, and/or stop getting picked on in time,&amp;nbsp;and if you wish it by and are constantly worried about that one thing (whatever it is), then when you get there you may regret it.&amp;nbsp; Life is short...appreciate every day no matter what your max is for that particular day...  &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  There's nothing wrong with setting goals and really wanting them, I just hope that no one lets them consume their every day.&amp;nbsp; </description><link>http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/fb.ashx?m=274724</link><pubDate>Mon, 16 Jul 2007 18:00:49 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
