Sure, but even if it was my own mother, they're adults and can make their own decisions.

Who the hell is the govt to tell me how to treat MY body.

I agree with vaughn... (Soccerking3000)

in all honesty its a solid way of pretty much getting rid of the spending used to enforce drug policies and replacing it with what could be a multi-billion dollar revenue that could be used to i dunno maybe get rid of the ridiculous deficit.

But here in lies what i think is the MAJOR reason why it will never happen. By switching up the laws and legalizing certain natural drugs, its essentially saying everything the gov't has done in the past 50 years and all the money they spent was stupid and the people who supported it are also no longer credible ect ect. Like i wrote in the other thread about politicians, they all have their own agendas and NONE of them want to look stupid. Look at the war in Iraq, was it a screw up in a lot of respects? Most definitely and the leaders or our nation know this but instead of admitting guilt they keep going along with it because they are afraid of being wrong.

This type of mentallity can be traced back to the abolishment of alcohol, the only difference was because there was such a large and uncontrollable way to enforce it, they were forced to remove it. The only difference i see today is that we've let people become to powerful and are willing to sacrifice the pride and view of our nation to benefit them. There are no large ORGANIZED (i emphasize this) groups speaking out and it all just gets swept under the rug and neglected like so many other issues.
RE: Should the US Government ban ephedra products? That just shows egalization can work.

I definitely agree. natural drugs should be legal. The amount of money the government spends on enforcing marijuana laws is ridiculous.
RE: Should the US Government ban ephedra products?
