I don't know if I'd say the more cardio the better. You probablly don't want to be doing 3 sessions a day or anything like that.

And remember after 8 or 10 weeks take a week off from cardio to keep your body getting use to it.
RE: Cardio Question (raidendavidb)

do cardio 7 days a week with your normal weight lifting regime, do cardio as often as possible, if you work out and do loads of cardio it will help you get ripped faster.

Cardio Question (Soul)

Well, I'm confused again. I suppose it was inevitable, seeing as how my latest hobby of sitting around reading exercise literature fairly well sets me up for finding conflicting information, but anyway...

I've started a new workout plan. I'm lifting four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday), with half an hour of cardio immediately following the lifts for those days. My question is this: since my goal is fat loss, would it be beneficial to continue a cardio regimen even on the three days I'm not lifting? In other words, would I see faster, steadier, and more permanant fat loss lifting and doing cardio four days a week, or lifting four days a week and doing cardio daily?

I should also point out that, when it comes to cardio, burnout isn't an issue I'm concerned with. I love it. If there's no functional difference between the four and seven day plan, I'll do the seven just for fun :)
