I would like to compile my own gym in my garage at my house I need some suggestions. I am mostly going to be concentrating on free weighs with minimal amount of machines. I was thinking or having dumbbells with a bench (inclinde and decline) for bench press and a lat pull down and row machine. I mostly want to be able to use my bench press for squats too.

First, I need dumbbells. Im not too picky about this so anything will do. I need from around 15lbs to 70lbs.

Second, a bench. One which can incline and decline for bench presses.

Third, a bench press machine.

Fourth, a row and lat machine in one. I am not picky and anything will do as long as it gets the job done.

Again my garage is a little bigger than my car which is a 2005 Nissan Altima. My car fits in the garage nicely with about 2 feet on every side. I also have a spare bedroom which could be used for more equipment if needed. Please give me some feedback and suggestions. Please inform me on the price range I will be spending.

And lastly I would like talk to someone who knows a good deal about lifting and cardio to tell me what kind of workout routine to get started on.
