For those who don't know a lot about Glucosamine, you might want to do a re-fresher on what this supplement really is all about.

Glucosamine Information

Why a Gel?

I'm not going to get technical. Mainly because this product isn't even officially out yet. And second, I'm not technical. But here's the deal as I've understood it to be.

I firmly believe in Glucosamine pills. When I had my bout of tendonitis I began taking these pills. There was a substantial and noticeable difference. Over time, the aches, pains and general effects of heavy lifting soon wore off. Almost like a miracle cure. Not temporary. But healing. Building back the cartilage that sometimes can be damaged by heavy and prolonged lifting. But as we know, pills have to be broken down by the liver, so really, those bill horse pills you take, 1500mg, what really gets into your system? Enough that over time it has a good effect. But by passing the liver and going trans-dermal, that is ideally what you want. But not everything can just pass thru the skill.

Welcome Glucosamine Gel

Yes I've tried it. I have the sample bottles. I've tried out a few of the revisions and the current bottle is by far the best. It's a nice gel. You put 3 squirts on, rub it in.. and I kid you not, it's like whatever pain you had (tendon pull, joint aches) seems to disappear in about 20 minutes. And not just temporary. As in bye bye. Gone. For a really bad pull, or joint pain, you will probably have to apply it several times over a short period of time. But it's like the glucosamine pill only you get nearly 100% of the benefits.

So is this really new?

YES. There are other gels on the market. And they have glucosamine in them. But I do not believe they penetrate the skin and have the effects this gel seems to have. It's sort of freaky. To have a pain. And then, not.

My First Experience

I received a test bottle. I had gone to the waste disposal site that day and threw away a crappy sink. As usual, I threw it, twisting and ended up tweaking my forearm. Not quite a bicep pull. But a very similar effect to the tendinitis I had. You know, that muscle that connects the bicep and forearm? Right there on the side. You really feel it doing hammer curls? No? Yes? Anyway. At the time, it was more of a wet spray. Not a gel. I put on about 3 sprays of the stuff. Rubbed it in. Watched T.V. After the show, I went on about my business. Only later did I realize that the pain was no longer there. And guess what. It never came back.

My Own Tests

I had a few more little samples. I gave one to a guy who works out pretty hard in the gym. He's going for the Contra Costa Amateur contest. He had some pretty bad tendinitis. I gave him a sample. He used it then. He told me before he left that he couldn't believe it worked. It was pretty freaky. No warm feelings. No tingling. Nothing. Just relief. And not some icy-hot sort of relief. But pain-->gone. Granted, he works out pretty hard. So of course he's just going to keep injuring the area until he relaxes a bit. But at least it's under control and he can press on.

The bottle pictured I think has some menthol in it? Because when I've used it, I get that warm-cool feeling. I guess people like to know "something" is happening.

Summary

This is some pretty amazing stuff. I wasn't this hyped about anything since Creatine and the effects I felt from NO2 (dunno about the muscle claims but I sure liked the pumps). It appears to be a very promising and good product. Especially for those who follow Max-OT and suffer any joint discomfort from heavy lifting over time.

[image]local://upfiles/2/8696475DE14143CFB02620E0396F538F.jpg[/image]
