(danmac75)

You guys nailed it. It's a boost in ego and confidence. I also sweat like crazy at night now, but I always thought it was something wrong with me health-wise. I know some things like stomach uclers can cause night sweats. I hate the sweating at night thing, sometimes I'll wake up and my sheets are soaked, and especially if I get up to use the bathroom, I come back and the wet sheets are freezing! One thing I've found to kind of help against the whole night sweat thing is to wear a t-shirt to bed and even a wife beater works, subtly nicknamed or not.

By the way, don't tell anybody about this. It's kind of embarassing and personal, I don't want everyone to know I'm a night sweater. lol it's not like i expect you to go and post it on the internet or something crazy like that.

By the way, post workout nutrition has changed since first post.
RE: Can you feel testosterone? Testosterone isn't a steroid?
Fyi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Testosterone
"Testosterone is a steroid hormone from the androgen group."

Anywho I do believe you feel a higher intensity in your workouts and are more moody, but that's a result, you can't really "feel" testosterone whatever that means.

RE: Can you feel testosterone? It's more commonly known as "runner's high".

RE: Can you feel testosterone? (MrBafner)

No, you cannot feel testosterone... you can get good results from testosterone. You can the results of massive testosterone abuse...

Around 6ml of sustanon per week produces bad acne... bad acne. Stopped taking sustanon and it went away after 1 week, was afraid to move... some would pimples would pop when flexed. I ever only had 1 bad acne explosion and that was after 5 or 6 months in a sustanon course. Its one I learnt to stay away from!!
RE: Can you feel testosterone? (danmac75)

For me I think it's a combination of the endorphines and the fact that I equate weightlifting with supreme machismo. I love it, i get so charged up before I go to the gym and it's the best feeling ever. Then you have being at the gym and listening to the iPod. But I think you're right, it must just be endorphines.

RE: Can you feel testosterone? (Nm0ney34)

im not sure if its the testosterone...i know leg workouts produce ALOT more than just upper body.

However I heard that working out releases endorphines to your brain that gives u the same kind of feeling as being high...so for alot of people working out is like a natural drug. Thats why alot of people dred going to the gym but always feel better afterwards.
Can you feel testosterone? (danmac75)

I wanted to ask this question because I feel like I had a great workout today and followed it with a good tasting, extremely healthy meal of broccoli and tuna. I soon after felt really good, relaxed, but charged up at the same time. It was almost a little high, and instinctivly thought "It's testosterone from a better than average leg workout."

I don't think that I'm correct here, but I was definitely curious as to what you might feel mentally and physically after a workout to kind of detect if you are doing things right? I know that the best way to know if you're doing things right is through caliper tests, keeping track of weights lifted, and muscle size measurements, as they are concrete evidence to the benefits of an active/nutritious lifestyle. I'm curious as to the cause of these surges of energy/endorphins, if that's what the feelings come from. I reluctantly use the word feelings, as it's not an emotional thing, while it is a mental and physical feeling.
