Those are some pretty good prices.

Now I need to check into their reliability and shipping cost.

Example: BSN product is $30 (initial sight) with S/H of $8 (hidden cost)...or I could get a BSN product for $35 with free shipping...

v8 in any ride is the only way to go... I've got a v8 magnum in my '98 durango... 150,000 miles and not a single thing wrong ever and never had to fix a damn thing except for the break line once.

I got an inline 6 in my jeep, and let me tell you, for an suv, that thing isnt slow. Not to mention my tourque is rediculous :)

The v6 t5 mustang will beat the gm counterpart. Been there, done that. Drove both models. The GM, although a nice ride, does not have the power/weight advantage. Therefore, it loses.

A stock 5.0L/4.6L will beat a 3.8 Mustang or camaro rather easily. The powercurve is to great to overcome.

Horsepower is rated at peak numbers. What is going on before and after the peak? A much higher power advantage.

So what 5.7L Camaro you talking about? A lt1 or ls1? TPI or TBI? 350 or 346?

What year model's are you comparing?

Looks is based on opinion. Speaking of opinions, I think a camaro looks like a catfish caught out of the colorado river. Just my opinion though:D

What I meant is the 3.8 is better because it is one of the most reliabe engines out there, plus 190hp was the most ford ever got out of their 3.8, earlier years made as low as 145hp. It depends on what model year your talking about.

I've seen pretty much stock 3.8 beat an old 5.0, the v8 didnt make that much hp for the size. it was probobly because the mustang was significantly older a low millage 5.0 would probobly have gotten a better run. I said almost as fast, because the performance gap between the two isnt as big as most people would think.

The ls1 is the one I had in mind.

I'm biased toward the Camaro because I drive one. To me it's one of the best looking cars, especially with the body kit. A catfish? lol nah.

The 98 and 99-00 Mustangs are two different models. Are you wanting the base model (v6 - more affordable) or the gt model (v8)?

v6, i only have a max of $7000 to spend. im debating between a mustang convertible or a camaro w/ a t-top.

you can get a bsn mass stack (1 noxplode, 2 cellmass, 360 nitrix) on ebay for $145 i believe.

Well as I'm sure you know the camaro model was discountinued back in '02...but that will soon be over with the new f-bodies coming out from GM.

I had a 00 GT, 5spd...nice car.

Just check your local classifieds, autotrader.com, and yahoo auto.

I'm not a big fan of verts, just because of the added weight and the chassis regidity is down compared to a coupe, but they do look nice!
