It depends on what model year your talking about.  &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  I've seen pretty much stock 3.8 beat&amp;nbsp;an old 5.0, the v8 didnt make that much hp for the size. it was probobly because the mustang was significantly older a&amp;nbsp;low millage&amp;nbsp;5.0 would probobly have gotten a better run. I said almost as fast, because the performance gap between the two isnt as big as most people would think.  &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  The ls1 is the one I had in mind.  &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  I'm biased toward the Camaro because I drive one. To me it's one of the best looking cars, especially with the body kit.
