My school cafeteria tries to kill us with some deadly food. Anyways my solution is I wake up 10-15 mins earlier, cut up some roasted chicken, ham, turkey, w.e you have and stick it in a wrap, maybe with some tomatoes, lettuce, mustard, etc etc and I eat a bag of some kind of baked lays with a bottle of water. Hope that might have helped

RE: 16 y.o. need help w/ supplements (Carrhart)

Look..Idc about your age or whatever...You asked for supps I'll give you a list of some good supps..

Superpump250 and SizeOn 100% WHEY PROTEIN
NO-Xplode and CellMass with Nitrix, 100% WHEY PROTEIN
Just look around on the web..

For those of you guys who say this kid is to young, maybe come onto this thread and help him with his question instead of bashing him for wanting to try supps..It's his body and he probably knows what might be best for it.

He is probably very eager to see results and believes supps will do it for him. I'm sure for those of you who critcize his idea if you were 16 and asking here for supps and people told you NO YOUR TO YOUNG! You would get frustrated, telling this kid he is to young isnt going to stop his purchase of any supplement, if it were me and I was curious I would just go out and buy some anyways to try it.

Let teenagers make their own choices and learn from there mistakes.
RE: 16 y.o. need help w/ supplements (sssaammm123)

thanks that actually helped alot especially w/ nutrtition, but imma look into that stack your talking bout, thanks again

RE: 16 y.o. need help w/ supplements (fat.caveman)

not sure if this will help.
i am 6'00 291
225 bench
85 curl

i eat breakfast eggs, no bread, maybe dry toast sometimes, orange juice and some type of fruit if i have it, maybe yogurt.
i eat lunch usually chicken of some type, chicken sandwich i remove top piece of bread, or subway sandwich, glass of milk or some type of drink no soda, sometimes water.
i drink 4-5 bottles of water a day
i eat snack of sometype between lunch and supper, usually chicken breast, glass of juice or milk.
i eat supper usually chicken of some type, usually cook my own supper 2 chicken breast with some rice, green beans, no bread unless i absolutely have to have it(very seldom unless its subway). i drink (gnc)protein shake w/creatine that i mix into it powder form right after work. i drink another (gnc)protein shake right before bed.
i also drink gatorade and juice whenever i can during the day.
my current stack is 17hd/ viroloid/amino acids/ protein shakes and creatine/gnc mens vitamins

i am not trying to get skinny or cut, just want mass and lose about 15 more lbs in the stomach.
for cardio i do 25 minutes on the eliptical every day before work except on mondays, i do it after my workout cause thats my bench day.
my workout
monday chest (push-ups)
usually do 3 sets heavy weight, incline, close grip and skull crushers
tuesday cardio, back (push-ups)
wednesday arms, lats(push-ups)
thursday cardio back (i do light workout on chest)(push-ups)
friday roundtree (i do light workout on everything except chest)

i am not an expert by far and what i do miht not work for you or anybody but i figured if any of this helps you then its worth it to post. good luck.
by the way.
i did a stack of gakic/leuki/creakic/t-bomb II /protein,creatine
for 6 weeks and saw awsome gains(just too expensive for me to do past the 6 weeks)
also i have a buddy i work out thats seen close to or exact gains i have so i know we're on the right track.
keep asking your questions, there's alot of guys on here that's experienced and will help you, they've helped me tremendously.
good luck
RE: 16 y.o. need help w/ supplements (sssaammm123)

normal i have 1.5 scoops gold stand whey protein about 30 minutes after workout, earliest i can get it. and mostly i have potatoes or oat meal before an intense workout. but ill look it up, or atleast try

RE: 16 y.o. need help w/ supplements (vdk_au)

for a pre/post workout, you could go for some whey protein with carbs. There an article posted here by Dan on the amounts of protein/carbs you should be taking pre/post, personally I just have a meal, not optimal, but if you want, you can for tha, just try to find the article
RE: 16 y.o. need help w/ supplements (sssaammm123)

thank everyone for suggestions, im definatly going to start taking my own **** to school to eat, i duno why i didnt even think of that before, and i checked out the links it was rly helpful. With this new gained knowledge i just highly improved my diet i belive, but obviously not where it should be and still needs lots of work. But for the moment i still want to try a pre-workout supplement. I think im just going to go with the SP250 and ill check in a bit to update info, if i can even get my hands on the powder.

RE: 16 y.o. need help w/ supplements (vdk_au)

As I suggested before, I don't think he should be taking any supplements unless if his seeing results with his current diet. I am a very strong believer of having a good diet. I guarentee him that once he get's diet on track, he will be seeing results!

odw77, sure those supplements may help him get more energy during the workout, but unless if he puts enough food inside him, it's not going to help. And anyways, it's better to tell him now then later, when he has spent heaps of money on supplements realising that they do no good for him.

The reason I say this is because I have being in his footsteps and am still learning. Infact, I could say I have it worst. Being an ectomorph, having crohn's disease, and being at 47kg/103.4lbs in july and now at 121lbs from having a good diet, I can say that if I can do it, anyone can with just the right diet.
RE: 16 y.o. need help w/ supplements (odw777)

I think what he's saying is he's losing motivation. In that case I would recommend you try a pre workout supplement like satur8, vassive-no, xceed. etc. Something with arganine to give you a better pump maybe and the stimulants like caffeine couldn't hurt. The creatine would help you get some more mass too.

Also make sure you're supplying your muscles with bcaas at the right time like drinking whey right after your workouts.

RE: 16 y.o. need help w/ supplements (vdk_au)

ORIGINAL: modagg

i dont know why u guys even give a f*ck about his age or diet. recommend some crap that worked for u and it will be the end of it.

because this is what the committed members do here! Well for me I go to uni, and instead of buying outside food, I usually bring my own food. I'm sure there would be like a microwave or something in the common room (if one exists), you can use it to heat your food. Usually I bring stir fry food such as chicken or beef, with veggies, with some rice. If this isn't possible, you could bring sandwitches, with salads, and chicken. Or if you want, tell your parents to make extra for dinner, and you can always bring that food to school (hoping of course it's not KFC, or something alone those lines) You can also bring nuts, dried fruits, even cereal (but make sure it's low in sugar) if you wanted to!

Try reading this article on dieting
http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/m_111173/mpage_1/tm.htm

BTW, I would say give that routine I posted earlier a go. But I would recommend going for 3x8 for a few months to get the form/pace going. If you are not familiar with some of the exercises, I would recommend getting someone who knows their stuff to show u, or check your form

And in relation to supplements, I would say get your diet first up to scratch, and maybe later down the road, start experimenting with different supps, but for the moment, just stick to havin a good diet. For me being an ectomorph I find it hard to gain weight, but even from a having a good diet without supps, I have gained 8kg since july, which i consider damn good.

RE: 16 y.o. need help w/ supplements (modagg)

i dont know why u guys even give a f*ck about his age or diet. recommend some crap that worked for u and it will be the end of it.

RE: 16 y.o. need help w/ supplements (sssaammm123)

ORIGINAL: vdk_au

sssammm123, you tell us to not post about getting your diet to scratch, but how are expecting to gain, if it isn't? No supplement in the world is gonna get you there. You need to eat above your maintaince level, which means you need to eat big to get big! Also basing on your experience, I would say you need to base your training around compound exercises such as deadlifts, squats, rows, military press, and remove those useless isolation exercises for the moment.

Try this -> http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/m_120872/mpage_1/key_Natural%2cMass/tm.htm#195340

BTW, I just noticed that you were asking suggestions on supplements like creatine etc, yet, if you were asking about weight gainers, although I don't agree with them, it would have made more sense. Obviously those supplements won't help you. You are not seeing gains because you are not eating enough, and don't say all this crap that you are, because even if your training is not up to scratch, you will be gaining weight if your diet is up to scratch. All I'm trying to do is knock some sense into you that having a crap diet + loads of supplements won't help, but if that's the road you want to travel, then do that. Hope you take the advice on board.

thanks for the positive critisim, could u just help me with 1 thing though. the major reason for bad diet is because of school, its hard to get good food when stuck as school for 7 hours daily without being able to leave. If you could, can u plz make some suggestion for that? i would truly appreciate it. But i truly disagree that isolation is bad, because my lifts are all going up and i feel fullness, just no more size which is nutrition based as u said. And the reason i ask for supplements is because i just want to attempt them to see if i they will make a diffrence because if it does that would help me out alot.
RE: 16 y.o. need help w/ supplements (vdk_au)

sssammm123, you tell us to not post about getting your diet to scratch, but how are expecting to gain, if it isn't?
