How much could you be getting in your multi? A gram? Less? I mean, they don't need any added sugar, but it certainly wouldn't sway my buying decision...

RE: Best multi-vitamin to take =) (mrbig)

Any multi-vitamin is fine to take as long as it is natural no sugar added.

RE: Best multi-vitamin to take =) (WDNinABQ)

You seem to feel strongly about this subject. . . kinda like TP and Glutamine!

Well, let's just say that I'm a big fan of logic and reason. And while I don't expect people to be logically infallible. Hell, I'm sure I screw up every day I'm awake more than four hours. But when you're making a decision like this, well... think it through.

RE: Best multi-vitamin to take =) (axgar)

ORIGINAL: WDNinABQ

I'm really anti-herb, cause i believe they are drugs more or less, I know they are natural, but regardless think they will have a affect on one's chemistry.

Um... I don't know how to tell you this, but pretty much everything you put in your body is going to have an effect on your chemistry. Have a gander at the Journal of Medicinal Food to see just what your food is doing to you...

Want to get a cheap high? Chug about six gallons of water (well, don't, as that might be enough to kill you -- I'm too lazy to look that up now). Want to get a whole bunch of different hormones and regulatory agents flowing in your body? Eat... well, pretty much anything. You might want to stay away from tomatoes which are high in lycopene which could be considered a drug. And stay away from hot peppers -- they're loaded with capsaicin which could easily be considered a drug. Oh yeah... don't even think of going near chocolate. The anandamides in chocolate bind to the same receptors in the brain as THC (the "good stuff" in marijuana), producing very similar effects (there are also cannabinoids in chocolate, but not a lot). Of course, vigorous exercise has been shown to raise the level of anandamides in the body too, so you might want to avoid that as well...

I could go on, but I'm guessing by now that you've picked up on my point that avoiding herbs is a fairly silly (or at the very least, a fairly hard to justify) thing to do...

You seem to feel strongly about this subject. . . kinda like TP and Glutamine!

RE: Best multi-vitamin to take =) (WDNinABQ)

I'm really anti-herb, cause i believe they are drugs more or less, I know they are natural, but regardless think they will have a affect on one's chemistry.

Um... However i noticed that almost all i them have herbs of some type in them.

I'm really anti-herb, cause i believe they are drugs more or less, I know they are natural, but regardless think they will have a affect on one's chemistry. I know some of ya'll don't feel this way and thats a your opinion and i respect that. But i was wondering if any one knows of a good multi-vitamin that doesn't have any herbs and is food derived.
