(csulbaraneta80)

pure natural, I was wondering in your routine suggestion of 5x5 how would this be done? Do you train each set until failure or do you train so that you are able to do 5 reps for 5 sets? Also, why isn't good to train until failure for each set? I am currently doing max-ot where you do warm up sets, then train to failure for 3 sets of 4-6 reps and its been working out really well. Infact, moderators on site suggest the routine; however, I want to start another cycle doing a different routine for a while just to prevent my body from adapting and thought about your post for the 5 x 5 routine. How does this routine work? thanks pure natural.

RE: Read this if you've made little or no gains! (rippedchick)

Wow what's going on in here guys? Let's all be respectful and remember that this is all about bodybuilding and helping each other out, not arguing and bringing each other down.

And Pure - People will take your advice if you're someone to be respected, and you know your stuff, regardless of qualifications. I get guys IMing me all the time asking for my help/opinion on different topics and because they respect me I give the best advice I can, but I also have respect for them, and will tell them when I don't know something or am not qualified to give a solid answer, then I try to point them in the direction of a reputable source.

So lets get back to business guys, and leave this behind us, OK?
RE: Read this if you've made little or no gains! (PureNatural)

ORIGINAL: builtdarntough150
this routine and it's worked that that is a fraud.

He's just trying to get things out in the open so all of these new guys come in here that need advice won't look and say 'well if hes trained all these bodybuilders he must have a good routine and try it' then it not work for them the way it has him.

Routine is a Fraud? It has only worked for me? Hilarious funny it's coming from a guy who states he needs help when I've tried countless times then calls me ignorant. I've only fraud my status because guys like you won't take in advice unless you hear a moderator or someone who has decades of experience.

It's ironic how someone giving advice on others and saying it has worked for him along with crazy poundages let along the 161lb photo and then still indeed needs help for himself

Towards my advice on fraud Let's see some examples

"I've been doing great on that routine you gave me, my deadlift, squat and benchpress numbers have shot up nicely. My question is, today I did my bench press work out, I'm on week 3 and I've been adding 5 pounds every week"

"I have been working out since early January 2006 and have increased the weight on all my exercises "

"Started scrawny... 1/1/2006... 5'8" at 130 lbs 4/13/2006... 5'8" at 151 lbs
Progress is being made!"

"I must say, this routine is working extremely great for me right now!

"I probably started this routine about 4-5 weeks ago and I'v gained just over 3 lbs in muscle, which is very great for me! I usually take extremely long to gain weight and usually see only little changes like 1-2 pounds in several months!

As for my strength, no doubt that I've increased in all my exercises especially deadlifts.

I hope this continues to have great effects for me."

"Bah, I did this for like a month and saw more gains on this than doing Max-Ot for 2 months. I think I'm going to give this another go. Hopefully it'll be supplemental to my cutting."

"Purenatural thanks for the routine, my gains have increased"

"Already on it for 6 weeks im starting to see my strength go up, I'm getting more muscle too"

"Wow I've already added mass on this program, thanks for your help"

"I must say that PureNatural's stuff has brought me quite some progress."

RE: Read this if you've made little or no gains! (CrashCoder)

ORIGINAL: Lynx100
Being a little oversensitive dont you think?

This has nothing to do with being oversensitive. As I see it, it has to do with respect. You, as a moderator, should be an example for others. What example are you giving if you get personal at such a low level? Being a moderator on any forum means that you need to deal with people on a pure professional level and never become personal. Use the same ethical standards teachers should be using inside a classroom and you’ll do fine. If you have a personal issue with anybody, get in contact with him / her and say everything you have to say. But you should contribute to keeping this forum clean and not the other way round. If you can’t stick to such simple rules, then you have no business in being a moderator. And I think that it’s with the remaining moderators to control that whatever the cost, that’s why I posted in the feedback section as well. So it sure should be dealt with involving other moderators, but that is certainly going to happen behind the scenes.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t have anything against you personally – on the contrary. However, you should review what you’re doing in public because it stains the image of these forums. Remember that people come here because of the otherwise great image, but they don’t have to. They’ll contribute as long as they think it’s worthwhile. I’m not being oversensitive, nor do I feel attacked or offended or whatever. It’s the principle that counts, keep that in mind. That's why this will be my last post here.
RE: Read this if you've made little or no gains!
