(Capefl)

well you need to reed and educate yourself on the way you are suppose to workout. You need to take it seriously otherwise you arent going to get any bigger. Plus you sound like you want to get bigger just because you see other people bigger... you have to have a passion for lifting otherwise it will get boring to you. Lifting to me is just part of me, its somethign i look forward to after school everyday knowing that im going to hit the weights hard. Before you begin lifting you should head up to the local library or somethign and inform yourself on how to workout properly otherwise your going to end up getting hurt. You DEFINITELY need to stop drinking soda and add water to your diet instead. You need to come up with a diet that fits your workout regimine and figure out how you want to be. (ie. Bulky/ripped/built) you need to figure out what weight you arte trying to reach and set goals. You said "you want to figure out a way how to get big quick" There is really no magic way that will get you huge in a few months. To get big takes a long time, and hardwork. Goodluck and and ill be here tio answer your questions.

RE: New to all of this. (Absolute0)

I recommend you do a lot of reading here and get familiar to the exercises, reps, sets, the whole layout.

It's most important that you start freeweight, compound. Stuff like bench and squats. Whatever you can with your weight - i highly recommend a gym membership.

Anyway, you'll be just doing the basics, try to clean up your diet and eat healthy, but eat a lot of healthy food. That's what it's all about. I'm guessing you'll need to work hard and eat a lot if you were eating junky but stayed thin.
RE: New to all of this. (jkoelmel)

before you look further into supplements, make yourself a decent balanced diet that you will enforce for yourself, then start with some basic compound movements. this will develop your overall strength before doing isolation exercises...
Exercises

after you develop yourself a good base and feel comfortable doing all the different movements and such, then we'll talk about supplements, but if you are really looking for supps, look into creatine, glutamine, nitric oxide boosters, etc...but for any supplement related questions, just post in the supplement forum...welcome and good luck

New to all of this. (KingZeroX)

Alright, basically, I've never once lifted in my life, I'm 16... In the past few years I've eaten junk food, drank 64oz. of soda a day and I weigh 130lbs. at 5'10. Basically, I'm tiny and ready to change that. I only have 120lbs. in weights, and I just bought a bottle of WHEY Protein powder. Any tips on where to start? And also, besides whey protein, what will help get my buff really quick? I look at the other kids my age and they're pretty big, this makes me want to start lifting. Any ideas? Thanks! -
