﻿<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><rss version="2.0"><channel><title>gonna be bodybuilding soon; need info and help</title><link>http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/</link><description /><copyright>(c) DiscussBodybuilding.com</copyright><ttl>30</ttl><item><title> RE: gonna be bodybuilding soon; need info and help (danmirage)</title><description>  Vary&amp;nbsp;the training focus: &lt;br&gt;  Endurance &lt;br&gt;  Strength &lt;br&gt;  Growth &lt;br&gt;  Leaning &lt;br&gt;  Repeat it again &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Vary the training style! &lt;br&gt;  slow/fast/low rest/longer rest/explosive/pre exhaust &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Forget the stacks.&amp;nbsp; They are mostly a waste of your money. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  45 minutes max per lifting session not counting warm up and cool down. &lt;br&gt;  Do a little cardio..not much unless you need it to keep the fat down...use the cardio to optimize cardio function!&amp;nbsp; Do it after you lift.&amp;nbsp; Short moderate cardio sessions. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Do some functional work in the endurance phase..then move to the basic strength movements...then on to hypertrophy specific ...then lean up for a bit and repeat. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  For Gaining Mass &lt;br&gt;  &lt;a href="http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/For_Gaining_Mass/m_111173/tm.htm" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"&gt;http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/For_Gaining_Mass/m_111173/tm.htm&lt;/a&gt; &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  The top priority is &lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;food&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/b&gt;, then a multivitamin and an antioxidant. &lt;br&gt;  Consider&amp;nbsp;fish oil or other EFAs. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  For the extras.. &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  Creatine (just pure powdered mono,&amp;nbsp;not some koolaid mix) can help with recovery time and up the intensity, glutamine (again,&amp;nbsp;pure powder)&amp;nbsp;can help keep you from overtraining, BCAAs (pure poweder) before and after can halp to spare muscle. &lt;br&gt;   </description><link>http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/fb.ashx?m=141816</link><pubDate>Mon, 05 Jun 2006 20:59:13 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title> gonna be bodybuilding soon; need info and help (okura)</title><description>  i decided a few weeks ago that in college i will be a bodybuilder. i have some money and all but not enough to spend on $150-$200 stacks. this is what workout i did today and tomorrow i'll post the rest of the week's. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Monday: &lt;br&gt;  Incline Bench 3X5 heavy &lt;br&gt;  Snatch Squats 1X10 &lt;br&gt;  Altitude Drops 3X8 &lt;br&gt;  Dropset Dips 6X3 &lt;br&gt;  Power Cleans 3X5 heavy &lt;br&gt;  and some other exercises that i dont have written down at the moment &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  also, i take in around 3500-5000 calories a day &lt;br&gt;  i'm not sure if i've updated my stats but i'll go ahead and post them on here. &lt;br&gt;  height 5'10'' &lt;br&gt;  weight 145 lbs. &lt;br&gt;  bench max 180 lbs. &lt;br&gt;  squat max 325 lbs. &lt;br&gt;  deadlift max 340 lbs. &lt;br&gt;  15 yrs. old &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  any and all help will be appreciated thanks  &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;   </description><link>http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/fb.ashx?m=141519</link><pubDate>Mon, 05 Jun 2006 11:26:17 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
