(Lynx100)

oh and stop working out your upper body or stressing it - this might include running, rowing etc.

Your best guide for rehab will be your physio + doctor team. Noone here can guide you as they have not seen your Xrays or examined you.
RE: Rib out... (Lynx100)

 Pwnt,

First of all - chiropractors and fractures bones DO NOT GO TOGETHER. the last thing a healing bone needs is to be 'manipulated' and 'cracked into place' - not only could that result in improper alignment, it could very easily result in your rib having a improper healing, callous formation and pain/discomfort in the long term.

What you need to do is see a Doctor, then if he is happy that the fracture is stable, see a physiotherapist for continuing therapy.

Chiro's have their time and place and occassions, but im afraid this is not one of them.
RE: Rib out... (No Pain No Gain)

Man don't workout out at all for now. Your rib is out of place don't think of doing any weightlifting, maybe cardio at the most, but not high intensity stuff.

Rib out... (Pwnt)

My 5th rib is currently out of place. I have seen a chiropractor for it and and am currently going back every couple days to have it poped back into place. He tells me to avoid any muscle strain on my thorax in general. I dont understand what this means for my workout rutine. Can i still do sit-ups? Are curls, squats, deadlift, ect ok? How the hell do i workout my shoulders/triceps w/o putting stress on my chest.

Any help/comments appreciated.
