It is not legal to put in any artificial L-tryptophan in EAA supplements. L-tryptophan can only be in a naturally-occurring form. And if the EAA supplement you're considering purchasing doesn't have L-tryptophan, then the whole product is worthless for muscle building! Keep that in mind when shopping. The best is to get a complete protein like whey or soy isolate to supplement the dietary protein. EXTRA BCAA's are fine above whey or soy, but you need the complete proteins to build muscle. The extra surge of specific amino acids (ie BCAA's) is useful around the workout times. And glutamine is useful at ANY time throughout the day (like between meals) for your health, if not directed 100% towards building muscle.
Amino acids and protein (mustang)

During digestion protein gets broken down into Amino acids, that i know. So could I ditch the protein shakes and get plenty of BCAA's and EAA's to replace this. I ask this because protein shakes=acne for me and obviously I dont want acne
