(danmirage)

Yesterday while running on the tredmill, my feet started going numb. This has never happened before and sort of freaked me out, what could be causing this? I do not have running shoes, I just wear regular tennis shoes to the gym... could that be the reason?

Many possibilities for this.

For me it starts in my feet and progresses into my lower calf...from my feet swelling.

After the first 10 minutes, step off and loosen your shoes..it could be the swelling of your feet. Simple untie adn loosen them and retie them firm but not too tight again, you will naturally adjust them to the swelled thickness.

Static Stretch after! You may want to do a mild warm up and active stretch the hips and thigh before.

Running shoes or at the least...shock absorbant sports insoles!

try other machines with less impact..elliptical, rowing, etc..

Also... will switching to soup for lunch everyday help increase my chances of loosing weight sooner? Ofcourse I will be having my snacks throughout the day, but perhaps a low calorie soup will better increase my chances?

Remember, you have to FEED the body if you want to keep losing fat!

If you have lost 3 pounds already..then you are doing GREAT...no need to change anything!

If you are doing resistance training and cardio..you are probably losing fat and maybe gaining some muscle too...muscle increases your calories burned! The only exception here..as you lose weight, you burn slighlty fewer calories..so somewhere you can eat the same meals you usually do but make one of them smaller.

As long as you are still getting good balanced nutrition!

If you are not doing it..as Linda said "high rep and light weigth circuit training" will burn it even faster!

Keep drinking lots of water!
RE: Going on a cruise in 3 weeks... help! (Italianangel)

You may also want to consider high rep and light weigth circuit training, if you search that in the training area you may find a routine or 2.
Stick with nuts, yogurt and fruit for snacks, white meats like fish and meat for your main meals and oatmeal rocks for breaky......
Treadmill is super for fat loss, if you cannot run, walk jog first.....
RE: Going on a cruise in 3 weeks... help! (KarenH1985)

I am leaving for a cruise March 23rd and I need some help with lossing a few inches and toning up.
Right now I am 5'7" and 130lbs, and 21 years old. I'm not on a diet, but I watch what I eat. I work out about 3-4 times a week. But I need some quick results.
So can someone please give me some tips on meal/snack idea's and some good workout routines? I have access to a tredmill, bike and ski machine, as well as an all around weight machine.
Also, I should probably point out I am a very picky eatter, i hate veggies *except lettuce*... and I am definatly a meat eatter (chicken, beef, pork, i love it all) and I like fruit.
Can anyone help me or give me any pointers? Thank you!
