I would cut out some of the fruit, but definitely not all- You could also try whole grain rice, it's a great slow burning carb that gives you tons of energy and helps burn fat.
You're definitely on the right track, perhaps if you posted what you eat in the nutrition forum, you might get some more detailed information there. Personally, I think once you start your cardio and start lifting for four or five days a week, you'll see great results in a couple of months.
RE: advice (deebam)

this is me at present need 2 lose a few pounds and harden up a bit i think

http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=2/4717593429.jpg&s=x4
advice (deebam)

am brand new to this forum so bear with me
i have been back training now for about 7 weeks and i am doing not to bad my strength is getting better (current bench press is up to 110kgs happy with that i think as 7 weeks ago i was struggling at 80kgs) but wat i would like is some advice on my diet.
when i started back training i cut out crisps and choc i never really drunk pop anyway so it wasnt a problem i used to eat a couple of packs of crisps per day and the same for the choc but the problem is am still putting on weight my question is how do i loss weight but keep my strength?
a typical day i would have:

6:30am breakfast:a cupful of porridge with a drizzle of honey with a protein shake (23gr of protein) 5gr of glutamine and 5 gr of creatine then a banana on the way to work

9ish am i have an apple and a couple of oranges cause am always hungry at this time

10:00am 3 wheatbix a drizzle of honey with half a pint of semi skim milk and a banana

1:15pm 2 sarnies with wholemeal bread usually tuna or chicken a yogurt and a couple of oranges and an apple

5:30pm potatoes (3/4 med sized) with 4 slices of lean bacon and boiled cabbage

6:00pm protein shake 5gr glutamine 5gr creatine

10:00pm protein shake 5gr of creatine

wat am i doing wrong i think i maybe eat too much fruit in a day but i feel hungry all the time so wat can i eat and i drink about 2/3 pints of water a day
i am 25 i am 5foot 8 and am around the 14 stone mark always in and out a couple of pounds but 7 weeks ago i was 13 and a half stone
i dont do any cardio as yet but i am planing to v soon am only at the gym 2 nights a week at the min cause i have no time
night 1 is bis tris traps and legs
night 2 is chest shoulders and back
its not a great routine but its all i can muster at present but i am getting good gains from it my arms are now 16 inches and my chest is 46
could some1 give me any kinda help some how cause i know am doing something wrong thanks in advance
