(Marc David)

There's a different between warming up stretching and all out stretching after a workout. I recently did a warm up routine and some very light stretching before I benched. I had a great set of lifts. But it wasn't the same stretching routine that one would do AFTER a workout when you are totally warm.

RE: What will help me? That seems a little excessive to me. You should only need an hour or so of weight training to be effective, everything I've read and my experience tells me anything over that is running the risk of overtraining and will lead to diminished results.

Paul

RE: What will help me? (mls0066)

Another great complex carb, and one that's cheap and you can easily make yourself, is oatmeal. Just grab one of those big cylinders of quaker oats (original, not instant). All you do is put about 1/2 a cup of oats in a bowl, add about a cup of water, and put it in the microwave for 2.5 minutes. Instant carb, and the only clean up is to wash the bowl and spoon.

How could mom object?

RE: What will help me?
