routine order??? - Tuesday, April 07, 2009 12:51 PM ( #1 )
This is a rough outline of my work-out i swith alot of stuff in and out. My question is can i start with weighted pull-ups and end with bench? I feel everyone starts with bench is this the case?
benchpress 3x8
squat 3x8
weighted chin-ups
abs

Squats, then chins, then bench, then abs.  When you plateau, switch it up.

place the squats first. coz by the time u finish off the 3 sets, ur body will be fully warmed up for the next exercise.

then u do the bench press since ur shoulders are gonna be fresh and will be able to support the bar over ur chest. [try doing bench after OHPs and u ll what i mean]. after bench it s the OHPs to inflict max poundage on the delts and u finish off with back/lats workout and finally isolations.
Anbe Sivam. Period.

hey guys thanks for the input i just feel like my pull-ups are not making gains as fast as my bench and i LOVE pull-ups so i was just curious if starting with pull-ups some days(not all the time) would be ok?

If you are really strong with the pull-ups, you could try the one handed variety, use your other hand to hold the wrist area of the working arm.
