If you get fishy tasting burps does that mean your fish oil is rancid? I bought a buy one get once cvs brand not too long ago and I keep netting nasty tasting burps not long after i take them.

It happens sometimes when you switch to different brands. As long as they aren't expired then you are fine. They should disappear in less than a week.

How ironic: I had these fish burps for the 1st time this morning and I was trying to figure out when I last had fish. Then I thought of the Fish Oil/Omega 3 supp I just took. Also I did notice the expiration date is less than a year after I bought it and there are 400 gelcaps in the bottle. So they do go rancid fast? I have no room in the fridge or freezer for that huge bottle. :(

You get the fish burps when your supplement is digested in the stomach. If it digested in the intestines, you do not get the burps. Some products are coated so they are not digested in the stomach.

If you freeze them, do you chew them or swallow them whole?

I'm guessing if you savor the taste and smell of fish oil, chew away, otherwise swallow whole. ;)
