hey i read somewhere that athletes walk around a few days a week using dorsiflexon(spelled wrong i think) where your toes are pointed up  and heels are only part of foot touching floor and umm its said to increase how u step wen running i just wanna kno if this will actually work???

Just builds up your tibialis anterior. The muscle that helps you lift up your toes and prevent shin splints. Also works when running backwards. Unless you are running a sprint backwards, I'm not sure how much that would help. Now walking on your toes I could see, as that builds your calves. That's what jump shoes are for. They keep your heels up with no support - force you to walk/run on your toes.

ya well i read about it in the new mens health training guide and its on brady quinns workout and ugh i hate shin splints i have one right now :(

I wouldn't buy 80% of what you read in a magazine. Especially when it's got some big star's name tacked onto it like Brady Quinn.
