It all depends on your needs.. If you're getting enough protein naturally then you probably only need to use whey post workout.   Whey is best used pre and post workout due to it being a fast absorbing protein. I usually  have a whey shake 30 minutes before a workout and within 30 minutes after a workout. On the post shake, don't add any fat.. maybe water and a half a banana.. anything with fat will slow down the absorption rate of the whey

but ive heard that the best time to have whey is post workout and early morning....before breakfast!!
is it true

because pre workout your protein might be used by ur body as it requires large amount of energy!!
correct me if im wrong!!

Some people say it's good to have whey first thing in the morning due to it being a fast absorbing protein and the fact you body has gone 6-8 hours without having any nutrition.. That's fine but I think thier are other ways.. more affordable ways to replinish your body first thing in the morning..

Yes.. having a whey shake post workout is probably the most important time to have one..

First thing in the morning and post workout are the best absorbtion times for your whey shake for most lifestyles.
