Definitely get the pullup bar- It's the best possible exercise for your lats, and guess what- It's a great ab development tool too. You can do hanging leg and knee raises and twists, weighted or not. As for the ab rollout thing- I know what you're talking about, and I'd personally save money by not buying one. You can get results from doing crunches, reverse crunches, weighted crunches, decline crunches, the exercises I listed above with the pullup bar, and many others- Without the use of the rollout thing. It'll work your abs, sure- But it's more or less a gimmick that can be replaced ten times over with other exercises.

i see, well then i will be buying a pull up bar and yeah i know they can workout your abs too. the other day i did pull ups with my knee bent. and i didn't go to far down so my abs were burning after like 4 reps. and my abs were sore for the last 4-5days. thanx for the advice. but yeah it's true i do have a problem with setting the pull up bar.

Sorry to sound silly, or if this has been covered before, but assuming we don't have a pull up bar (yet), where are some spots to look for to be good places to do pull-ups? My apologies if this is a silly question. Regards, -Alex

it's not a stupid question. it's good to ask questions about where you should buy it. i dunno, if you would ask me then i would say that i would buy it from modells. it's close to my home and they have preety decent prices. stay cool

Well first i would like to say if you have an e-z bar and some small weights (probly 5 or 10 pounds) and use it for your ab thing. Pull-ups are a must for great back development and shoulders. If you can only do a few pull-ups keep goin they are like push ups you can do more as you go. Hope this helps you. Wolverine

Wolverine yeah but if you keep on going then after a while it just helps endurance in muscles. you have to try different variation.
