The best valued protein powder I've ever tried is the whey from Optimum Nutrition, I highly reccomend their product, it's cheap, its quality, and it tastes fine. Watch out for Wal Mart brands, the first protein I ever tried was from there (the brand name was Weider, I think), it didn't have any flavor added in so you don't even want to imagine what it tasted like. Another tip is whenever you try a new brand name, get the chocolate flavour first. That way it seems less likely to taste like garbage, and if it does you can add some chocolate milk powder to make it bearable again. If the chocolate flavour is good then you can start experimenting with the more risky flavours from the company.

I just bought that today actually... the Optimum chocolate flavour. It doesn't taste bad, just a little chalkier than the brand I'd bought before. The guy was trying to talk me out of buying it and into buying somethin more expensive but I stuck to the advice I'd been given :)

Costco sells Wellements premium pro rated, its very nice. 27 grams of protein per serving, w/ 7 types of protein, from whey, egg, and caesin... low in carbs, sweatend with splenda... low fat, low cholest....tons of BCAA's.. tastes decent... make with milk and it tastes good... best thing is its 6lbs for 24.95..
Eat...Lift....Sleep......Repeat Enjoy the process.. but crave the goal.

i went to a close store near me and i bought met-rex whey protien. i assume metrex is a good quality and it was a pretty good price. i got the vanilla flavor because i like vanilla way better than chocalate. vanilla is tasty. it has 46 grams of protien in it.
