Just thought I'd share my experiences and thoughts on a couple things, after a summer of good results. First I'd like to say something about protein consumption. I constantly hear it said that you should take in anywhere from a gram per pound to 2g/lb of body weight DAILY. I have questioned this since day one, as every study I've read concerning protein and muscle growth involves much smaller amounts. Just consider this, without getting too technical: how much protein do you think your body can actually absorb and incorporate into muscle every day? I seriously doubt you assimilate hundreds of grams of protein per day. Also it's not that good for your kidneys. I figure if i hit .5 grams per pound per day it's plenty. More would just be wasted. V12 Turbo from SAN: I've used NO-Explode, Trac, and various other pre-workout/creatine products. I think BSN and MuscleTech especially are completely full of it. Remember Anator? The supposed "genetic activator"? Don't you think if there was such a thing, you'd hear about it in some scientific literature other than ads from the people selling it? Just a thought. I don't like plain creatine cuz it makes you look puffy. You can always tell the guys in the gym dosing up on cheap creatine. Me personally, I keep going back to V12 cuz IT WORKS. Makes you pumped, hard, and dry, not puffy and swollen. Also gives you a nice energy boost. I mix it with IsoExtreme protein, which absorbs really fast and makes a great pre-workout drink.

Trenadrol: damn. This stuff definitely works. Main side effects I noticed were you have no sex drive, and if you take it later than say 2pm you probably won't sleep. I took twice a day, early morning and no later than lunch, and it worked great. I used something with Tribulus after, although I seemed bounce back pretty good even on weekends off.

My summer routine: Mainly I wanted to get lean, but I managed to add muscle at the same time. I held 220 pretty much all summer, while getting bigger and leaner. Pretty sweet! I took an hour mountain bike ride at lunch daily, surfed for about 2 hours daily after work, then went and lifted for no more than an hour later in the evening, 4 days a week. And believe me, you need your sleep! Another reason not to take Trenadrol late in the day...took me 3 nights of basically not sleeping to realize what the deal was. Anyway, I hope some of this info might be helpful, and have a good one.
