Hey bro, I noticed a couple other posts you had on here and you seem to be having a tough time, lol. If you want some real good information, try this link I found it pretty darn useful when I first got to this forum.

As far as the creatine and whey protein thing... If you had to get just one I'd get Creatine. But you do need alot of protein to build muscle, so if you don't get store protein then eat ALOT of stuff like peanut butter, tuna, beans, lean meat... you need about 1.5 x your body weight in protein.

What kind of creatine? Hell, just get some if you have to go to Wal Mart for it. If you have a GNC around go ask them, they are usually knowledgeable.

I mean there is some "better" creatine out there in terms of how well it dissolves or the fact that they will have the right amoung to juice type stuff in the mix (creatine absorbs better when taken with juice). But if you've never used it before, don't sweat it... just get some. I guarantee you'll be liking what it does.

If you do get serious about buying creatine and protein, etc. Figure out what you like and then buy it on the internet. You can get it insanely cheaper online than going to the store. I drink this stuff called Myoplex that is almost $70 at GNC. Online it is under $40 with shipping!

creatine and protein are different things...

but i would recommend absolutely stick with protein, creatine GNC style is 8.99 right now why dont you get some of that, 40 servings,,, cheap as heck.

but yes, stick with the protein its really the only way to go

Lord they are hot though, don't touch, I advise. But you are burned, and penalised, of course overdramatise and you get the prize. I am that boy baby girl and now I will end your 9 lives.

lol see, protein shakes do not give you any muscle, it is just protein, just like the protein you get from your daily food that you eat. Protein shakes help you gain muscle with working out, you dont workout you wont get any muscles. On the other hand, creatine makes muscles. Some people prefer not to use creatine because they beileve it isnt health but noone has any doubt about protein shakes because it is just protein.

Protein is a must if you workout, creatine is a boost that is optional

GNC staff is just like any other retail sales person. Most of them are just there to make money, not advise you. And if they do give adbice, research what they say. Some of the clerks really do know what they're talking about, but most don't. I had one clerk that I knew who was going to school for nuitrition, so I kinda trusted her, but I saw her as a salesperson trying to make me buy something before I saw her as a nuitritionist. The same way as I saw the trainers at my old gym. They were trying to sell their product.

Unfortunately, there are very few sales professionals in ANY store that know much about the products anymore. I work in an office supply store (no names because I'm on my last nerve with the company), but I am one of the last really good salespeople who KNOWS computers. I'm a certified technician. People come to me for advice, and I give them the honest truth. Most of the other guys in my department will try to give the honest truth, but also want the sale. I don't want the sale,I want your friendship because I know you'll come back and support me over the guys at the other stores just shoving the latest technology that you might not need down your throat. It's the same principle.
