If you eat a full meal, 2 hours until workout, if it just a piece of fruit or snack, 30 mins.  If you workout with a full stomach there is 2 issues, either you are going to throw up to get rid of the food, or you will have a low energy workout because your body is using energy to digest food instead of moving muscles.

The Sustain Bar deserves strong consideration when comparing cost and ingredient profiles.

Two fast options for a shake.... (that I personally use everyday)

1. Put required powder in an empty shaker, take to gym, post workout fill with cold water to desired level, shake and take.

2. Put required powder in a shaker, add desired level of milk, add a few ice cubes. Take to gym and consume postworkout.

easy, simple. Normally better value than buy expensive bars. (they are expensive where I am from)
