Casein protein is good before bed because it is slowly digested and will fuel the body for a good 4-7 hours.

i would recommend doing one shake in the morning and one post workout and simply eat some cottage cheese before bed. its loaded with casein protein and buying a specific casein protein would be a waste of money!

you don't want to take it RIGHT before bed.......give it alittle space between going to bed and when you take it

some type of casein before bedtime is good.  whether it's from milk, a shake, or cottage cheese.

i'm doin' the cottage cheese thing.  you want minimal carbs before bed.. and cottage cheese = low carb, good amount of casein protein content.

i guess cottage cheese wouldn't be a bad idea, as long as it's low sugar.

if it has too much sugar it will cause insulin release right before bedtime, and since you'll be asleep, the insulin will store in fat cells.  that = bad

but you're right, cottage cheese is a pretty good idea

2 grams of sugar before bed-time is nothing IMO...

i feel that all the endo's fret too much over "barely any sugar" just before bed-time.

you're right, that's why i said cottage cheese with low sugar content (or atleast i think i said that)

2 grams isn't that much. some cottage cheese has around 10,  which is quite alot
