Is there any other way of getting protien pre and post w/o without mixing. I don't have a milk source at work where I do most of my w/o's. Do protein bars help and if so how many?

Do you have a water source at work? You can mix your protein in water as well.
As for protein bars, yes, you can use them, but they are hella expensive for what they give you, and a lot of them have a pretty crappy nutrient profile. How many do you need? That depends on the bar -- read the label and see what's in it and go from there.

I Agree. Protein bars are a waste of your $$$
Mix your powder in water.

I've mixed my protein with water- The taste was a little rough to get used to, but it'll do the job. (I still prefer it with milk, though.)

If you're at work then surely there's a common fridge or something to store your drinks in? I take 2 shakes at work (9:30 and 2:30) as a quick meal/protein boost. I just store them in cheap tupperware drink containers in a plastic bag (grocery store bag) in the fridge.
Which makes me wonder, does protein lose anything if it's mixed and stored for a few hours?

I wouldn't pre-mix them. Keep the milk or water seperate from the powder until you are ready to drink. I leave a scoop in my jug then add milk at work when I'm ready to drink...much better to do.

Premixing doesnt taste as great and freshmixing. And dont you find that he protein isnt dissolved well when you premix?
That's why i just carry protein in a bottle, and fill it up at the water fountain.

Actually I find it's mixed perfectly. In the morning I'll pour in 500mL of skim milk with 2 scoops of whey (MRM Metabolic Whey for me right now) into my blender and there's not a bit of powder left. I'll have to consider trying mixing it at the moment. Bit of a pain to take more containers (for the powder) to work..
