First of you need a motivation. I started bodybuilding because I were scared of being beated up at school. (seen too much computer-nerd-killing-movies )

How to do it:

*Eat much protein (from egg, meat, beans, fish).
*How much protein you need/day: 2g protein for every 1kilo you weight. Example, if your weight is 55kilo, then you need 110g protein.
*Train 4-6 reps if you want big muscles. If you're exhausted before 4 reps, put on less weight. If you can do it over 6, put on more weight.
*Make sets until you're exhausted.
*Wait 4 minutes between every set.
*You will see changes after 6-20 months. (I think this depends on which age you have).
*Look if you have gotten any stronger after some weeks. Example, you started at 10 kilo 4-6 reps. Next week, 10.5 kilo 4-6 reps.

I don't know if I'm right about all mentioned above, I've only bodybuilded in 8 months. Good luck m8

i disagree with the 4-6 reps, i did that method with a 3 min break for about 10 months and the gains i saw wearnt that big, just strength gains. For mass i would reccomend 10-12 reps with a 2-3 min inbetween. But dont overtrain, only do about 7-9 TOTAL sets per body part. Like on my Shoulder/Tricep day i do :
8 sets for shoulders
4 sets for triceps
* i do this because you already work your triceps alot with many of the shoulder exercises.
Aint nothing to It, but to do It.
Age: 17
Height: 6'4-5
Mass: 238lbs
Goal: 250lb

Favorite Exercise: Squating w/ my belt

Yea ok.

I agree with MaNiFeST.
If you want strength you train for strength = 4-6 reps etc.

If you want muscle hypertophy (growth) you train for that...8-12 rep range.

The time in between can vary and lets you change the intensity.

The Total sets should be based on doing the minimum to get your muscles to grow.  you will always have to make adjustments, so give yourself a lifetime of ramping it up by alweays doing the LEAST necessary to get the most gains.

Now that has nothing to do with your question.

"becoming a pro bodybuilder?"  I assume you mean that in the technical sense.

What are the steps you take to becomming a Pro BB vs. how do you build your body.

There are articles on this site that pretty much tell you step by step how to do that...
