Hi, I’m a little bit confused about my pre-workout shakes. I’m taking only NO-EXPLODE as a pre workout supplements 30 mins prior to my training, but I heard that it is better to also take a pre-workout shake consisting of protein and carbs, is this true? And if yes, when should I take this shake, i.e. before the NO-EXPLODE or after it, taking into consideration that I will have a meal 2 to 3 hrs before the training with about 40 gm protein and 60 gm carbs. And for my post workout I’ll take Cell-mass and after 30 mins I’ll take a shake ( 40 gm whey, 92 gm carbs, glutamine, vitamins C & E and Chromium Picolinate )….thnx

ok, thank u Godzmarine but when should i take both the pre-workout supplment and the NO-explode so as they don't interfere. Second, is NO explode enough as pre-workout supplment or should i add the protein and cards shake?

I would jsut throw down a protein shake 45 minutes pre workout, and then throw down NO Xplode immediately preworkout. It should allow fro enough time for the protein to leave your stomach. I fyou are taking NO Xplode, carbs will not be necessary preworkout IMO.

Funny, I could have sworn I said something like this a couple of posts ago. 30-60 minutes without food consumption is considered an empty stomach by the way.
