powerlifting routine? - Wednesday, May 03, 2006 6:23 PM ( #1 )
does anyone have a basic routine theyd be willing to share. im looking to up bench, squat, deadlift, and everything else i can possibly exercise. i know that a 5x5 routine will build strenghth, but iv never heard of anyone saying anything about gaining size from it. i mean i know that you get extremely built eventualy, but i couldnt figure out why no one uses powerlifting for strength as well as size. im currently doing 3x10 routine on everything. i belong to a gym so equiment isnt an issue, i take creatine, glutamine, and protien.
age- 16
height- 6'0
weight-220
bench-260
deadlift-315x7
%bf- bulking so prolly alot
arms- 17
chest- 48 inches
shoulders- 53 inches
neck- 16.5

I like the Russin routine. Look that up. Its VERY high volume and i got strong from it.
 
But otherwise, 4x6 is good. Or 3x3, 2x2 in the same workout is decent for mass. Remember though, a lot of mass when bilking can be gained threw high volume. high weight with 5 sets of 4-6 reps.
