would anyone else describe the first part of a power clean, to the point where the bar reaches your knees, as practically the same as the first part (to the kees) of a deadlift?...or am i wayyyyy off?

I know me too, I usually like to lift the weight up curl style, and then hold it above my head, then drop it and catch it above my head, that's 2 reps.

I know me too, I usually like to lift the weight up curl style, and then hold it above my head, then drop it and catch it above my head, that's 2 reps.

I throw the bar toward the ceiling
catch it,while seated,and immediately
test my vertical jump....then bodyslam
the bar back through the floor
 
only 1 rep is required
