See the examples.. Post your own journal. You may get some interesting feedback there as people can critique your routine better if they have all the facts.
You are asking a very frequently asked question that requires some in-depth knowledge of what you are doing today to obtain the results you want.
As you already seem to know, a visible 6-pack is not just crunches and ab work, but really comes down to your diet and lowering the body-fat so low that it really shows.
Men carry their weight around the mid-section. So it' s the last place to go.
