Whatever you have planned, your title says a mouthful.

It just occurred to me that there are still a ton of guys out there who think this is an either/or game. As in, you can't have both. Sure, you can focus exclusively on strength and have a power-lifter's build, but if you want to build any kind of serious muscle and carve it into something aesthetically pleasing, there's no getting around the strength aspect.

Bottom line: nobody gets bigger without first getting stronger. Atrophy is a response to a deficiency in strength. What you do with that mass once you have it is up to you.
