wide grip benching, chest flies, db incline and flat press also do a pretty well job for overall pectoral stimulation.

I'm just wondering...

There are 3 whole muscles that you could classify as apart of the chest;
Pec Minor, Pec Major and Serratus Anterior (last one has little to do with how your chest looks).

Pec Minor is literally a small strand of muscle going along the side, with the Pec Major as the bulk of your chest.
Now how do you judge that your 'inner chest' is well defined where your 'outer chest' is not?
I'm sorry, even in my n00b days I never thought of it like that and by physical appearance I don't know how you could get the inner/outer idea. Smile

Just curious about your creativity really. No intention to offend. :)

Also, wide-grip and/or dumbbell stuff will work wonders.

also you might want to take into account BF%, i found that the lower my bf%, the morethe line on the side of my pecs showed...that could be your "outer chest" problem.

You're very welcome but I don't think you quite understand.

There is no such thing as an inner/outer chest muscle-wise.
The pec major has upper fibers and lower fibers which are worked differently through Inclines/Declines but there is no inner chest muscle or outer chest muscle. Beyond the pec major is really just your ribs.

Btw, awesome sig quote there 209. Smile

I'm going with Wyrms... the pec has two heads.. Upper head.. very small and lower head which makes up about 90% of the entire pec.. No inner or outter muscle...

If it's shaped funny or uneven.. then that's just the way it grows.. if you're luck, growth wise.. it might even out. but if it's the upper pec that is lagging.. Bench with a slight incline is the best for the upper head and regular old flat bench is best for the lower head.....   But needless to say.. Plain old flat bench works the entire pec.

Well even then, I'm just trying to point out that from an external point of view your sentence makes little sense, so without a photo or a good description of your chest, we don't know EXACTLY what you're shooting for so we throw out some random chains of suggestions instead of one to fit your needs perfectly. Smile

Again, you're welcome.

That's just how your pecs are shaped.. maybe adding mass will give somewhat of an illusion that your "outter pec" is bigger, but in reality there's nothing u can do to grow just that portion

dude - you chest is fine, just needs to grow.

Whatever your doing, it seems to be working fine - up the weight and try a 5x5 routine and eat a lot for 6 weeks and see how it goes.

let us know how it goes.

Flat bench press is all you need to work the entire pec.  OH  presses will work the delts and upper head of the pec... It's impossible to target the inner or outter region of the pec.  It's one muscle..

I didn't see one mention of WIDE GRIP DIPS!

* chin tucked in to your chest
* elbows flared out
* wide grip (33" if possible)
* feet straight down, crossed and slightly in front of your body (a slight crescent shape)

And nobody mentioned the old school 1950's BENCH PRESS TO THE NECK

Benching to your neck is the shiznit lol. You will definately feel it, but make sure you're not screwing around while doing it. Obvious injuries can occur.

I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: 'I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God.' That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic -- on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg -- or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.

Agreed.  I don't use very much weight and there's no need to.  Form is of the essence.

Ask any new PT about this and they will give you the Kinesiology lecture and all that crap.  More often than not, they've never ever heard of it.

It's the bomb.  Most of the time, I do it on a Smith Machine for added safety although it's even more intense and works better just with a free weight barbell.
