should i take my protein shake right before i work out, during , or after?

you should take it before and after .. after is more important though because u need to recover and protein speeds the process

You CAN take it both before and after, but it is not absolutely necessary. Afterwards is def the more important time (as willis said)

alright yeah ive been taking my protein after every since ive been on it. but my debate is: taking protein RIGHT BEFORE would make it sit temporarily until stored or absorbed. When u lift and pump, muscles slowly expand and then can take in that protein. my workouts are superset so its fast but also, example i do chest and shoulders. my chest isnt taking in protein because im still doing my shoulder workout. i think about it and it just seems more logical to take it right before in the gym or during.

no, dont do that... besides from possibly puking up during your workout, its not neccesary. have 1 scoop of whey 30mins pre workout and 2 post. that is all.

i posted this in the other thread but you should have a carb rich meal prior to lifting so you have glycogen stores needed for resistance training, generally you want to eat this meal 60-90 minutes before so by the time you are working out nutrients are all ready circulating in your blood stream.
