sorry but this is a creatine question.  If creatine puts water into your muscles, then will that be slowing you down speed and quickness wise due to the excess water weight?  Im currently taking body fortress creatine

Moved to supplements.

To answer your question maybe a little but creatine really only makes you absorb extra water around 5 pounds so unless you are doing a sport measured in tenths of a second you should be able to move that extra water weight without issues. Otherwise you should discontinue creatine use.

It is not enough weight to slow you down. It is more of a hydration issue. The muscles need water and the nutrients it carries from food to work. Your whole body is water so a little extra in your muscles wont slow you down.

While it may not slow you down that much in shorter distances, I have seen studies that show a decrease in endurance on longer 1+ mile runs. This was back in 2005 when I was first considering whether or not to take it for the first time.

I don't buy that Creatine will lower your endurance.  If anything I'd think it would have the opposite effect on muscle endurance, esspecially over the long haul.  Plus to the original question, you might feel a little bloated and sluggish when you first start taking creatine, but after your body adjusts to the extra goodness it's not really gonna hold you back.
