Hello all- My girlfriend wants some help. She is 17 years old, is 5'4" tall, and weighs 110 lbs. She is a very petite girl. She is a martial arts instructor and does karate almost everyday and is in very good shape. She is looking to start training to compete in muay thai kickboxing events and is looking to put on some muscle mass pounds. I'm not exactly sure what to tell her to use and figured this would be the best way to find out. What supplement(s) should she use to go along with her workout and lifting to put on some muscle mass pounds? Thank you all very much!!

Well as far as it goes with supplements, I would say males and females would take the same thing, exept males might take pro hormones, and females want to stay away from things like that. so i would say Whey / Milti Vitamins / Omega Fats / and maybe glutamine if she wants.
You think girls look at what you lift...or what you lift it with? Age: 17 Height: 5'9'' Weight: 180lbs

You should post up her diet and what her weight training is like then we can help more but she does need to eat every 2-3 hours, protein must be predominant, some efas like Udos oil or Lemmon oil - not just a flax which is not balanced in Omegas at a good ratio. Some type of protein powder whether its whey, soy, hemp, veg, rice....whatever as long as she takes about 20-30 grams protein per meal. She does tons of cardio, her martial arts is cardio......aerobic or anerobic it is still cardio so if she is doing weights, what is she doing, if not then she needs to start doing that!
