you shud pick body building as your sport. If you put another sport before weightlifting then you wont get the results you want. Make lifting top priority and u'll be happy.

It doesn't really hurt to do both. But from the sounds of it, you seem pretty keen on building some serious muscle, so if you're really wanting to focus on the "muscle side" of things, maybe focus specifically on weight lifting as your main hobby. Maybe train religiously for a few months or so until you work out what your goals are (as the above have mentioned) and then decide whether you want to incorporate track etc. Many people tend to change their goals later down the track in terms of body shape (how big they want to be, how cut/bulky, etc)

I don't know how intense your practices are, but personally I also play basketball as well as body building and I suggest doing weights before practice because you'll be tired from your practise and won't have just as much motivation to go and work out or energy in that case.

dance. really any kind can be very intence depending on how much energy you put into it. i dance both ballet and hip-hop. last summer i was doing 10 hours of ballet a week. and i had to take epsion salt baths every other day. sometimes right before class. it was intence(i was also doing a number of other dance classes) but still 4 hours of ballet a week kicks my butt. i also put in alot of practice time at the gym, in the step arobics studio. dance is also an easy way to meet girls and make freinds. perfesonal dance companies cost alot, (like 15-25 bucks on up for an one hour lesson) but smaller places, like some gyms offer dance like the YMCA, and other places. really the best bang for your buck is community colleges. for one dance class i pay 15 bucks for 12 weeks(not counting study body fees which is like 25).
