The supplement is a great addition to your diet for gaining strength and mass, but it is just that, a supplement. The rest of your diet should be zoned around what you are trying to accomplish as well. If you are trying to gain mass, a diet high in protein is the trick. I try to eat 5-6 small to medium sized meals a day with lots of meat but making sure i get enough of the other food groups in as well. Post in the nutrition section about gaining mass and you will get a lot more responses on this. 20g of protein is a good size serving, i'd take it in the morning or right after i was done training. Also, if you need a meal but don't have the time you could take it then. As far as a routine for gaining strength in your upper body... once again, try posting in the training section for more responses but remember that without good nutrition the results you want won't show. I too am 5'9 180 and my benchmax is at 280. my usual chest routine: Benchpress: (intense sets) 4x6 (add 5-10 lbs. with each set), 1x2-4 Incline Dumbell bench: 3x8 Dumbell close grip bench (dumbells parallell to body): 2x10 You have a lot to consider in this question, like how you are going to divide up your workouts per day (like day 1, chest and back, day 2 shoulders and bi's/tris etc) b/c this will influence how you work these muscle groups. I'd recommend posting more specific questions in their appropriate forums here, and then take a day to plan a diet and a weekly total body routine which you can change as time goes on. taking a little time to prepare will pay off big in the weight room.
