my goal is to gain more weight, so for tha past few months i've been eating like a beast, hoping to gain weight. (In these months i havent been lifting any weights.) Today, i weighed myself and was only 153 ibs.. It was pretty discouraging when i realized i only gained 3 ibs. in a month, when i wwas trying oh so hard! =(.. i'm trying to gain weight before i start bodybuilding but i just dont think i can do it.. u guys think it will be easier for me to gain weight if i continue to eat ALOT, and just start lifting weights? help im a noob

TEF...Thermic Effect of food
Some foods are more metabolic in effect than others.

If you want to gain fat then eat and do nothing...if you want to gain strength and muscle then eat and train.

You may be eating the wrong foods or not enough for your metabolism.

yea its probably what your eating, in my experience I would try taking protien shakes those have worked for me nd if your about to start I would say start lifting light so you can get used to it first, I started lifting when I was at 125ibs.
