..keep doing what you're doing dude. rome wasn't built over night or in six to seven weeks.

diet
rest
bust your ass in the gym

everything that interferes with the above process, eliminate from your life.

Where is your bench at now?

What program are you doing?

Have you stalled yet on bench?

yeah. if i could put on 40 pounds in 6 weeks i would **** a brick. that would put me at 315. until you stall out, i wouldnt change anything. dont fix it if it aint broke.

yup pretty much keep going until you stall on everything, not just bench. Your squats/deadlifts are far more important anyway.

your getting close to a deload week anyway so just keep going, rest/light week and then jump back into it.

its all about slow and steady progression  aka use those 2.5lbs...it has to be be a slow process because your joints/tendons dont recover as fast as your muscles do so if you jump alot in weight you have a much higher risk of injury or pain because ure tendons/joints arent caught up with your muscles.

40 lbs in 6-7 weeks is very good but the gains will come slower over time
