need help loosing my arms - Wednesday, May 31, 2006 3:01 PM ( #1 )
Hi, Im 5'4 and about 125lb (female). Now, the lower part of my body is skinny, i have small butt and legs but my upper part has always bothered me. My arms and chest area always seem big comapred to the rest of my body and ive been trying to loose some of that fat but nothing works. I dont go to gym as i work and go to school full time. Im looking for advice how to exercise it so that i dont have to go to gym. I jog in the park i jump rope and all the home stuff.
When i was younger (Im 22 now) I was so petite but ever since i had a car accident and was covered in cast, I cant seem to go back to that petite body and i desperately want to. So basically im looking for specific advice for loosing arms and belly sides too. Anything will help. Thanks guys!!

Hi ,
Im new to the gym as of last August, but, doing some ab crunches will help your stomach ..........as for arms.........you say you dont want to go to the gym, but the bench at the gym sure took the fat off my arms quickly! Maybe you can get you some dumbells and try them at home, Im sure Linda or some of the other ladies here will be able to be more specific for you. She is good at what she does....................Tam

"doing some ab crunches will help your stomach "

really not true

you just can't lose bodyfat at one particular place.

the best way to lose the fat on your arms is doing cardio and eat well.
i'm 19
incline bench press 160lbs 100reps
incline dumbells curl 100lbs 2 reps
stiff leg deadlift 220lbs 100reps

Just because you workout you stomach, doesn't mean you lose the fat on the stomach. You just gain muscle on the stomach.

Yes, it is training and you burn calories but by just doing crunches doesn't get rid of fat, just like working out arms won't help her.

Fat is related to food. Eleminate some carbs, the unhealthy fats, the simple sugars, take more protein, workout/cardio hard and the fat will jus melt off.
