need advice - Friday, March 10, 2006 6:59 AM ( #1 )
hello
i'm new to this forum so i thought i'd get some advice from experienced girls.
I have been working out since feb 1st with my husband and have seen some good progress as far as losing weight.I have lost 17 pounds so far but have a ways to go.
My question.....I have been taking hydroxycut hardcore and dandelion root supplement.Would it be counterproductive to take a creatine supplement while on these products or would gaining muscle by using creatine help to speed up my metabolism?

I'm not a girl, but my thoughts have always been do everything naturally first.  Once you've hit that plateau, try out the supplements to push you over the edge.

I wouldn't become too dependent on supplements so soon.  Take your time, there's plenty of it!

Moreover, usually slow and steady yields longer lasting results that you're able to keep up.

I'm not saying don't take supplements, but I wouldn't worry about them too much this early on.  I'd just stick with a healthy diet and a diverse and steady workout routine for right now.

Of course, I'm sure my opinion will be lambasted.  Either way, I still think go natural for the first few months.

If your getting great results with what your doing why change it?

As jeffcali said keep a good steady routine and stay with it. Most people have alot of troubles keeping motivated to keep training. You working out with your husband is awsome that way you two can keep each other company as most when working out are on there own. The other thing is your diet which plays a HUGE role on the way you lose weight and build muscle. A perfect diet will help a great deal in you seeing results.
