I was wondering if anyone has tried this stuff yet? Apparently its a new NO drink from muscle tech.  Just seeing if I should give it a shot instead of the usual Super Pump 250 or NO Explode.

Haven't tried it yet, but probably never will unless I get it for free. Not worth it IMO.

localoutoftowner,

what do you base your opinion on?  the people always bashing muscletech on here must be employees of some other company or getting free **** for saying it. or you are all juiced up and comparing the legal stuff to sust 250 or something. I tried nano vapor today for the first time and it had me and the guy i train with jacked up beyond belief.  prior to this we both really liked noxplode, but with one scoop the nano vapor blew it away. and it says you can build up to 3 scoops so i don't see how it isn't worth it.

I base my opinions on my knowledge. I'm actually a big fan of Cell-tech, so don't go pullin that "Muscletech HATORZ" line on me.

Localoutoftowner and most people's opinions towards muscle tech have nothing to do with other company promotions.  If you look closely at a lot of Muscle Tech ads, the promises it gives you are rediculous.  Plus it's down right ridculously expensive.  I have not tried NanoVapor, however I have used NO-Xplode.  More than likely your "jacked up" feeling was from a jacked up ammount of caffeine.  I also once was a proud user of NO-Xplode, however after the first few weeks it went down hill.  My body got used to the ammount of caffeine and the product simply wasn't working for me.  Let alone the effects my stomach felt.  Now because I am no longer a fan of this product doesn't mean I hate BSN.  Cell Mass did very well with me.  The opinions you see here about Muscle Tech though are probably due to the ammount of respect I feel they have lost from the general bodybuilding public due to their ads and price compared to how well the product really works.

I actually like MT products until the whole Gakic ,Leukic,Hardcore(celltech & nitrotech). I actually like celltech and nitrotech but the price makes it not worth the benefit. Nitrotech especially has nothing on ON gold standard. NaNO Vapor may be a great product , but I would have to have dispensible income to throw away before i'd try it.

But i'm not a hater of MT at all, hate the price though

i understand that the hype is annoying and ridiculous, but what ad for a supplement is totally honest. as for the price-at fitnessone.com nanovapor is about 19 cents more per serving and so far well worth it.

localoutoftowner, how do you possess knowledge of something you have never tried?

is NaNO VAPOR MuscleTechs version of BSNs NO-Xplode? If so then I will not try it because im not a fan of the caffiene companies put in their NO products to get you jacked, leaves you with a GREAT high followed by an extreme low. Also the effects wear off, EXPENSIVE too.

I hate to chime in here and I'm not picking on anyone.. just pointing out that I've seen similar statements.

First...

Supplementation should be partially if not fully based on some science for the ingredients listed in the product.

Second...

You don't need to try everything to figure out that if a product has 10,000 ingredients in it like naNO Vapor (creatine, caffeine, etc) that it's probably going to work in some capacity.

Third...

I haven't tried roller blading down my steep hill that goes into a major intersection either but from science, I know that my speed would exceed my capacity to control my skates and the cross traffic is dangerous.

Key Point:

You don't need to try supplements that have no foundation to ultimately determine if they work.

They should have evidence in some capacity suggesting they do work and then you can evaluate it.

In the specific case of naNO Vapor, it probably does work.  Not all the ingredients in there but some of it is valid and science will prove that as well.

If you take NO-Expode for example, does it work?

Sure.  Creatine and caffeine.  Yeah, it's probably going to work for most people.  And there's many ingredients in that specific product to suggest it's at least evaluating for your own use.

I don't need to try it to know it's going to work.  However, based on the ingredients and that it probably does work, it would be a reason to try it.

Many of these products that contain proprietary blends are impossible to evaluate because you ultimately have to ask yourself this...

What is working?

Who knows.  There's 900 ingredients in there.  It could be any number of things.

And when it quits working, why?

Maybe the caffeine high wore off.  Carrhart points that out and I've seen a lot of people say the same thing.

They initially love a product but after some time, it ceases to work because the "high" wears off.

Finally...

Does that mean you can't try it?

Of course not!  Smile

And from what I've seen on other forums, it's rather inexpensive for a MT product, there are some ingredients in there that do work, and it's probably worth a try if you like those type of supplements.

Exactly. Proprietary blends that huge are a downer. Proprietary blends in general suck. There's no way you could actually reap the full benefits of everything in there unless you took the whole bottle at once. It is inexpensive as far as MT goes, but still is 64 dollars for 20/40 servings.

Also I cant really take this product seriously anymore after reading about it at BB.com....Seriously look at what the company put down as Directions: Thats a joke, horrible marketing in my opinion, it makes it sound like a kids product, I think they should have made the directions more serious so you get sucked into thinking your taking a serious lifting product, instead they say dont leave open for more then 30 seconds or yadayadada will escape and cause explosions or whatever...horrible idea.

GNC used to sell/sells a product called "Amino Jac" designed pre or post. 35 grams of simple carbs for glycogen/insulin and packed with BCAA's and a few other EAA's. Not advertised at all, but still an excellent product.

Nope but now I wish I had jumped the gun and wrote it!

Jeff has been in contact with me.  He seems interested in a sample recipe and some type of book and advanced supplement book as well.  Not sure what that's about but I am going to keep pushing for a sample.

Tried some the other day in place of my nitro explosion. Worked well but still not worth the price to me.

Besides, research shows that taking caffeine with Creatine neutrilizes to a degree the effect of creatine

i've been on it for 2 weeks now. at first i thought i was doing something wrong coz t'was so so..i even posted a topic to ask about it. after which, i upped the dosage to 2 scoops and got the effect (probably from the caffeine) and noticed some good pumps in the workout. i could say you could try it and yeah, not that expensive for an MT product.
